Sending you all my love, and have not much more to add to all posts below, maybe just that nothing in this world happens without a reason and without a cause, and even though often we can't see the bigger picture at the time or sometimes never come to see why this or that happened 🙂

There is a nice story someone posted on my other forum, I'll translate it for you, and maybe it is not fully relevant, maybe will give you something to think about 🙂

"Things are not always what they seem to be"
Two angels was travelling, one old and another young and still learning. On the first night they happened to find a big rich house as a nearest pace to sleep over. The house was very rich and the landlord very fond of himself. He didn't invite them to join the dinner table, getting serivce to make some basic meal for them and made them sleep in the basement, not in the rooms.
In the night when angels were going to sleep they noticed a hole in the wall and fixed it.
In the morning only the poor servants said goodbye to them and apologised they can't give them any food for the way.
Next night they came across a little hut and needed to spend a night there. There were just poor farmer and his wife. They didn't have much just tiny piece of land they farmed and one cow. They shared they modest supper with them and gave guests their own bed and slept on the floor. In the morning angels saw farmers weeping over the dead cow.
When angels were far from the hut the young one was still thinking confused, and said:
I don't understand - the rich landlord was a bad man and you repaired his wall, the farmers were good and honest and you let their only cow die, why?
The old angel smiled gently and said:
You see, things are not always what they seem to be. First night I saw the gold shining from the wall and I hide it so he won't find it anymore and the wealth wouldn't spoil the landlord even more, and made him worse than he is and he can learn. In the farmers house death came in the night to take his wife, so I gave her cow instead. Even than neither of them realise what I've done and what could happen - it is all for the highest good...

The kindest regards
xxx

The pain of your loss is unbearable, and words of comfort are passed and no longer support, nothing can fill the void when your heart is torn away and your soul ripped in half at a time when your life should be at its peak with all its potential laid out before you. It's the worst crime that life can deal to take away in such a violent way the person most dear and most precious.

How can you carry on? How can you live with such a deep wound? But Simon lived and he was loved by you and in return he loved you. You have had the greatest gift, deep, fulfilling and enduring love. Your love is an example in what seems like a loveless world. Your love is a beacon of light to those who abuse it through superficiality.

Through your loss many now know of your love for Simon, because of your cry for help many know the meaning of love. Your time with Simon may have been brief but it's not in vein, because now many with know the true meaning love.

Keep telling people of your love because in your heart, Simon will always be alive. To live, die and be forgotten is sad, but to live, love and be remembered is glorious.

Myarka.

Hi Purplehat

I would like to send you a really big,big hug. As I am sure that is one of the big things you are missing from your husband Simon. Can I ask how old your husband was. How many years had you been together.
I can really relate to what you are feeling. My sister lost her husband suddenly two years ago in December he was only 42. They had been together for over twenty years.

Her life has changed. She has two boys to bring up. Loseing someone does change you and your life as it was. You are grieving and yes it is and will be hard for you. It is still early days for you.

But can I just say two years down the line. My sister is coping and yes she still has times when she finds it hard.
Only yesterday she was saying that she was watching her boys play together and misses her husband laughing and mucking around with them.

I just wanted to say. Take day by day. Please come on here and talk about Simon. What was he like as a person what were his passions.

Sending you more big big hugs

Sunrise
