Dear friends, I'm on such a low I've cried so much over the last few nights (yep, nights are always the worst for me) asking what is the point of my life, I don't want to wake up to yet another day without my husband, I'm trying to live a normal life as possible (whatever that might be) but life will never be 'normal' for me again how can it be, the man I love was taken from me (he died in a RTA) earlier this year- I'm told by family and friends that I am loved and that must be reason in itself...well yes perhaps I am loved, but it's certainly not the same kind of love, and I'm no longer able to share the love I had for Simon.
No one ever sees the tears that continously flow inside, I hurt so much ~ I'm back to my question ~ what is the point of it all? 🙁
Oh Purple Hat me darlin',
I cannot give you any answers, as I have none
I cannot say I know how you feel because I do not
I can say, may you find your inner strength
to walk your path
and may every shed tear
corrode away at those rocks beneath your feet
until at some point you realise
there are rocks no longer
but beautiful white quartz sand
and your path can then be a peaceful journey
your sorrow having transformed
into loving memories of your dear husband
Dear Purple Hat
How would Simon answer you? Would he wish for you to remember all the good memories and move forward 1 day at a time? Write all your feelings in a journal and perhaps write back a letter to yourself as if Simon was writing it.................
Dear Purple Hat,
I'm so sorry for your loss of Simon. Tears are very good, I always encourage my clients to cry. The release of all your sadness is much better for you than bottling it all up. Time is irrelevant when we are grieving and a year is nothing in the scheme of things. Gradually you will find that you may have gone a whole 5 minutes without feeling that grief and gradually it will get a little bit longer in between. It will never go away but the pain will be more tolerable for you. People tend to feel guilty if they find themselves not 'thinking' all the time about their loved one but it is normal and Simon I am sure would not want you suffering because of him.
You will find yourself taking one step forward and then four back again, but again this is all normal.
Feel free to come here and unload how you are feeling, there will always be someone around for you. Sending you a big hug and lots of love to help you at this time.
Love and light
