Ooh - it goes from bad to worse sometimes. The solicitors for Unison have now said they will not support us going to tribunal so if we want to follow that option we will have to fund it ourselves. Gutting - you try and stand your moral ground against a potentially criminal act and what do you get in return - 20 months of agro - mostly unpaid - then laid off cor 'lack of capability due to the length of absence - then this - aargh!!

Sorry needed to blow off a little!

He is still looking at re-training although will also have to fund that himself - the different agencies are all very verbally supportive but there is no monetary assistance available - but c'est la vie!?!

I hope that we can get some more positive input from another solicitor - but who knows? Will have to just wait and see.

oh i do hope it works out for you, sometimes when things are rough you think how many times have you gotto be kicked down, your partner did what he thought was right, so that was the right choice for him, just hang in there and think postive thoughts, it will work out in the end, but isnt it a long road to get there lol

Lol - definitely a long old road!!

My poor other half feels at the mo like there is a revolving sledgehammer out there somewhere aimed either at his head or his feet - or possibly both - just waiting to knock him off balance!!!

On the plus point though you are right in what you say that he acted in the way he thought best, and has kept his moral integrity intact.

Many thanks
