You are all angels, thank you so much. Just a brief update, which is very unsatisfactory as it is that essentially I am sitting here waiting for the other shoe to drop. I haven't heard back from the man since that awful day -- but I know legal action can take time, soooo there it is. Nothing for you but thanks for supporting me.
Our Jacquie sent me emails with your lovely words so I would have them as I was/am having such problems, wasn't that justfabulous of her? My 'puter/internet has been so whacked that we finally have changed internet/email providers, gotten new super-duper Norton Protection in case it is a virus thingy, and Mr. AW has just ordered parts (a cache and memory or something)to try to fix it. It is so frustrating trying to get on here and stay on!

I'd recommend to dump Norton Antivirus as recently
it's being described an insufficient and install
NOD32 Antivirus which haslots of euristic features
andhasextremely low usage of memory.
There's also a superb firewall Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro
which self-configurates; you canmonitor every single step of
Inet work.

Life can be so hard... and so random at times too.
i am sorry you are having to endure this behaviour, but remember that you have done nothing wrong so ultimately you have nothing to fear!
In fact, in might be worth REALLY showing your faith in the fact that this situation is ludicrous and look at it from a different perspective... it probably wouldnt be too difficult to see it as damn funny if you could detach yoursef from the fear it has made you feel! By funny - I mean mind blowingly stupid, and therefore bordering on a practical joke from some naughty fairy or something!!!! Your beautiful spirit and soul shine for miles even on the net my sweet - there is no way that anyone would take this seriously, is there!
So don't wait around for the axe to fall - know that if the situation arises you will deal with it and it will be finished.
Do keep copies of the emails - and if it helps do report the situation yourself. you have nothing to hide, and perhaps this poor man needs 'help'? Who knows, he could be doing this to others too? He doesn't sound very balanced - there could be a real problem and perhaps your angels have chosen you to help him deal with it indirectly by highlighting his 'need' to the authorities in some way.
And lastly - send love and healing out to this man. Yup - sounds like a mad thing to do and it would take sooooo much stregnth on your part, but it is the right thing to do. This way you are not entangled in the bitterness and fear he is trying to create. Sending him love and hope that he will get the help he needs eh. And get on with your life gal!!!
