Hello, Would you send some kind and healing thoughts to my husbad who is totally stressed out. He is a worrier by nature but is currently in a complete downward spiral due to work stress. He is to close to the issues and cant see the wood for the trees. This last week he has become totally withdrawn and consumed by the situation and I am at a loss as to how I can help him. I have spoken to his business partner and the situation is not as bleak as he percieves it. I just dont know how to get him to see the world more positively, or to see the problems as positive challenges.
Any thoughts or ideas would be really appreciated,
Thank you,
Karen

I could advise meditation, Tai Chi etc... But with 'Business', I find this works fairly well for me and hope it may prove as effective for him (it is more involved than this, but I've laid out the bare bones of the effective bit)
Ask him to decide who he most admires as a hero or mentor - doesnt matter if this is a real person, a fictional one, a historical one or a current living one
But one he thinks a lot of and feels he knows much about (we all have one if we think about it hard enough).
Ask him to write the name on a sheet of paper and his own name on a sheet of paper and stand on the one with his own name on it.
Then ask him to focus on what hes feeling and the scenario and what troubles him
Now tell him to focus on this person he admires and then stand on the piece of paper with that characters name on it and to try and feel like he is that person while removing himself from the situation and focus on what he thinks that character would do about it if it was him!
I wish him luck, it's a tough ol' world 😮

I'm sorry for both him and you-it must be a very worrying time.
Sending him love, healing, peace and positivity.
Love, light and blessings,

RE: Help for my stressed out husband please
I do sympathise. My husband went through something very similar a few years ago and it is hard on ALL the family. He found CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) which helped him to question his thoughts and check if they were valid ones. He still uses this today in some new situations. Maybe he needs to see his doctor if he is becoming withdrawn.
In the meantime I am sending lots of love and healing Reiki energy to his situation for the highest good of all.
(Just remember to look after yourself too, it is so easy to get sucked down with them).
Love and light
