They are now REALLY trying to get him back to work but he has said that unless all the dignity issues are resolved he won't go back. Now Human Resources are trying to find him some work in a completely different department so he will be away from his direct line management. He will have another meeting tomorrow or Thursday.
As forACAS, they have said that as he is technically off sick - they won't do anything - I was quite shocked at that. At least he has his union rep on his side.
It has been a very stressful few months, and very frustrating for both of us, although he is trying to shield me from a lot of emotions, I do tell him he needs to be able to talk about it, and he has started opening up more. I think as I had my final assignments etc he just didn't want to burden me - but I think this made me feel worse in a way!
