Hi there everybody - I'm just sending a request to all reading this this morning for peaceful healing thoughts to go to my partner.
In November last year he went off work 'sick' having whistle blown on his bosses bad work practice - the enquiry has now been completed and despite admittances being made no action is being taken (unfortunately not surprising). My partner has a meeting today to see where he goes next and is sure they will pressure him to return despite his boss now saying there is a breakdown in trust between them.
It is not a good situation so any positive thoughts will surely assist.

It sounds like a very difficult situation needing much courage. Respect to the both of you for doing the right thing!

I have only just seen this so hoping the situation for your OH has been resolved. It took a lot of courage for him to stand up to this boss so a big pat on the back for that. Maybe it's time for him to move on to pastures new? Does he want to continue wasting his energy in a company like this?

Hi, Hope things went ok. I do staff rep work with our company and get situations like this.
They will try and talk him into work again and then make life so difficult he has to leave. Please please keep a diary of everything that happens, dates etc because you will need these if he resigns. He would possibly have a case for constructive dismissal. If harassment is the issue, or becomes one, there should be a process to deal with this (acas guidelines). If proven then the harasser should be moved. Acas website for a free download on harassment and whistleblowing (and much more).
