As it was only last night that I posted to you (and anyone) on the "Angels in the Bible" thread, and mentioned the book "Angels In My Hair" by Lorna Byrne - with a link to my review and others' opinions on the book - I just thought I'd mention it here too. You could either buy it or just order it through the library system.
It's not intended to be a purpose-written "pick me up" kind of book. But I at least found myself first identifying with her life (it's an autobiography) in the sense of resonating with her ... but also for a long time after reading it, I kept the very helpful sense that angels are all around. Definitely around you and me this very instant. There are more of them than of us by far. And they are always there to talk to. 🙂

Thanks V, I have browsed her book in the shop, she has a new one out and was on a chat show here recently,I just dont find her credible.I got Francesca Browns book and that one resonated with me.
The problem is when I did believe in Angels I was so happy, like there was something to all this human living,there was a purpose to 'living' and of late I am just looking for evidence of this,its probably an 'inside job', another part of my journey.
I cancelled the workshop with Francesca Brown and then the organiser kept emailing me that many people were looking to book on the limited places.I have now decided to go on it,its on Oct. 16th.Im just so confused.If I though 'angels' were not what I have believed in I would be so sad,I would then believe there is no God and my life would have no purpose at all.

I only realised today, nobody had asked you the question I don't think in the Angels - Bible thread of why you posted the question. I guess then it was to re-affirm or look at the evidence for angels? (Maybe that could even be another thread ....)
I haven't heard of Francesca Brown, but we resonate with different people. It's good you are going a week on Saturday as it will surely help? Apart from the course itself, it's mixing with like-minded people and it may lead to new ideas and directions.
Yes, Lorna Byrne claims a lot! I was won over early in the first book by the tone of character - it just seems so 150% sincere.
As for belief in angels, as with God: I read the other day that someone would rather believe in God all their lives and find out afterwards they had been wrong, than disbelieve all their lives, and find out God exists at the end. The logic there doesn't quite compute with me - I like to try to figure out truth here and now. Judy certainly supplied a few Biblical references in the other thread, huh?
Apart from seeing, knowing, or having faith in, or trusting the words and writings of others including the Bible, it's hard to know how to KNOW angels exist - and in a way you thought - but those are enough ways to be going on with. Along with answered prayers. I believe angels have individualities just like us, and are very often just not used because they need to be called upon; but there's also the phrase that they are "angles" (angels) of God's Consciousness. In other words, each angel has a different "take" or aspect of the pure Consciousness of God.

Yes V, it is true I am looking for evidence.A funny thing happened the other day, was in town and before I re confirmed the angel wokshop, I said to the angels 'right if ye are really here and I should do the workshop' show me a sign with a feather,being specific, a few seconds and there wa a little white feather, so I asked again and another one,I then said I wanted a black one and nothing but just as I was nearing my car a black and white one.Am I carzy or what?.
I am going to do alot of self healing today and listen for 'answers' from within, in Francesca Brown book she had initially been a little dismissive and asked for angels to appear to her so it is ok to doubt but perhaps mine goes a llittle far. (confused.com 😀 )
