Hi I am sorry to hear about the friend, its a shock when you hear of such things. What is important, or what I have found in the case of my OH is to treat them normally, my OH hates it when someone fuses over him. He says if he can't do it then he will tell someone and get the help, etc. Thinking of your friend and his family/friends too.

Just to update on my friend.
His wife was reading a local Sunday paper and spotted an article on cancer treatments in Chez Republic,where the cancer was injected with chemo. and some other meds, and although this was in the early stages of trial it had produced some fantastic results.( sorry I dont have all the related info yet)They have been over for 3 weeks, put up nearby and getting daily treatments and monitered.The cancer is gone into remission and he has put on weight.They are due home tonight so will have more info later,this is nothing short of miraculous:D
