Of course, Star - Love, Light and Healing to you for your toe.

I've been in a similar position in the past - you'll need to be careful not to stub it again (on a chair leg or similar)! I wasn't sure whether to wear sandals for comfort or boots for protection. I seem to remember the boots won out!

Hope it heals soon, my dear!

Alas, there's usually nothing the hospital can do with broken toes. I've broken the same big toe more times than I can count now, so much so that I can't bend it properly any more (once when I fell down the stairs, once when a camel stepped on it, once when a horse stepped on it and at least three times at martial arts!).

I know your pain! (although I think I'm almost immune to it now!), thoughts are with you. Elevating it will help with the pain/swelling, as will using ice (I use a bag of frozen peas). If the ice hurts then put a towel between the ice and the toe. Try and stay off it for a few days if possible.

Many thanks you guys,it was such a silly thing to do,I was rushing and ran into the leg of the kitchen chair (no shoes on),the leg completely parted my little toe and 4th toe,it was almost at a 90 degree angle, have had the ice on all day and could only wear flip flops.
