Sending love, healing and strength to your dad.......encouragement for your dad to walk is a very good move....keep as mobile as possible.
He and your step-mum are in my prayers.
Sending healing thoughts to your Dad, and both your Mum and yourself. Glad to hear that Social Services are giving the support needed by your parents. I was quite shocked to hear that the hospital discharged your father without a care plan set up. Sounds like poor communication between the hospital and social workers.

hi binah is was lack of thought by them when my sister went to pick him up, she asked what was set up the nurwsing staff said it was not their job to do that.luckily my sister works for the local care link so she rang them and they set the wheels in motion, otherwise my dad could have had another stroke if he had to get my step mother ready for bed. it just seems to me that no one cares now in the hospitals, but i know there are many nursing staff who would go out their way to help. i cant believe how he is improving at the moment just to have someone else to do the caring, he looks like all the worries have left him. anyway left him happy today i called with some home baking for their tea.
Healing thoughts on your Dad's way.

another update i took him into town yesterday, he thought he was fit enough but half way he came over all dizzy and he had to rest, i dashed to get the car for him and took him home. he told me when he came over unwell that his left hand became very cold, i have said to him maybe that is an early warning that his body is sending any body else have any ideas. i have said to him if he does not take it easy i will bring back to mine , which he would not like too many kids around lol
