hi everybody thankyou for all your replies, dad is improving every day now, they have the carers going in 3 times a day, and i call nearly every day and my sister when i cant. he wanted to do the shopping yesterday because he said he was not going to sit around, he says if he does not use his left leg he will lose it. he saw that with my step mum she decided not to walk a coupleof years ago, the doctors warned her but now she is in the wheel chair and dad does not want to end up like her. my sister who lives down south has asked him to stop down there for a while which would be great cos he can get away from everything. no good him coming to me for a rest he would soon tire of the children. thankyou all again
