RE: SOAPNUTS - Can they damage clothes?
Thanks Amber
It'sa big dilema being green sometimes! [sm=jump2.gif]I usedEcover at the beginning but found my darks sometimes looked like they had been washed with a tissue. I do occasionally still use it though.
Trying to change the world , I giveany friendwho is willing to listen some soapnuts to try... ha ha ~ even the sceptical hubby is happy having 'off whites' knowing we are helping the environment. Happy to send you some Amber Lady if you email/pm me your addresss (This offer is for Amber Lady only)

RE: SOAPNUTS - Can they damage clothes?
I dont use ecover any more because they arent BUAV approved, they dont test the final product or the ingredients on animals but they dont operate a FCOD which doesnt really help much to stop the campaign against animal tested products.

Blimey... this is a minefield ~ there is so much I dont know, I suppose like many people I try to be good and try to trust the shops..
Thanks for letting me know, I will stick to my soap nuts and use less oils.. I might have some embarrassment if my knickers fall down[sm=rollaugh.gif] , but this seems to be the best solution
Thanks Everyone 😀
RE: SOAPNUTS - Can they damage clothes?
My boss has been recommending soap nuts to everyone in the office - does this mean we can expect see EVERYONE's knickers falling down?!
Think I'll stick with the Eco balls (despite the obvious jokes).

Luckily, in reality mine has only been a skirt and a top... but maybe now I have mentioned the K word it might happen... better ensure I keep a safety pin handy 🙂
