Ended up getting as big a rotary as I could find - the idea being that I won't need to use the inner lines much. Seems to be doing ok with present weather.
Though Hubby put the base in wonky, so it's a bit lopsided!!

I have never had a rotary line however love my long line. I hated when I lived in the flat and had no access to a line and had damp washing hanging all over the place! Though I managed to get a very small pulley up in my hall cupbaord and that solved the asetic point. Plus the water tank was in there too so it dried faster.
I don't take my washing in when it rains as it is by then wetter than straight out the machine and I have nowhere to put it. I call it an extra rinse (or two!). My friends find this funny.
I know you now have a rotary pole however did you consider a retractable line? A friend has one from the house wall to the garage wall so doesn't need poles.
Lynn 🙂
