Here you'll find more cleaning solutions than you have cleaning problems 🙂

I use vinegar just about everywhere. Since I used it in my oven I've been totally smitten!
What do you use?

There is a similar recent thread that I started here....

I asked about howessential oils can be used practically - for cleaning, etc and got back lots of good links and info.

I love using white vinegar. I had read a book where you can make scented vinegar using essential oils & I have done that w/ Lavender. But actually, I don't mind the smell of vinegar. Makes me think of clean!
Baking soda is another one I use all around as well as hydrogen peroxide for bleach alternative for dishes. I use oxi-clean for laundry. I tried using borax, but made me a bit sick. Baking soda you don't have to wash your hands & it can be ingested whereas borax (boric acid) is actually toxic. I have pets so can't use it too much so figured just won't bother at all.

I've used Borax for some time, but haven't been able to find it lately. I've been tempted to try Oxi Clean, but I'm unfamiliar with it. Do you happen to know if it is safe to use in septic systems?

When you add oils to the vinegar, how many drops to how much vinegar? I agree, I like the smell of vinegar by itself too 🙂
