Just a quickie guys,

Plusyou can listen to it via the web too live - if you prefer to stay in front of your Puter

RE: "The Wolf Man" Radio Interview Tonight
Read an article on him today. Must say it sounded fascinating. Living with and interacting with the wolves, even down to regurgitating food for the cubs! When he went away he was accepted back but not as the alpha male. Should be an interesting programme.
RE: "The Wolf Man" Radio Interview Tonight
yeah Serenwen, I'm looking forward to the prog on Ch5 (on friday and not tomorrow as I posted earlier.
Anyway, what a fascinating interview, dunno if anybody else caught it…
(at one point there was caller called Laura waiting with a question who rang up ... and I thought Ohhh! our very own Laura from HP.... but it weren't doh!)
There was a lot of information, stuff like they’d know (or detect) from metres away the change in his heart rate when it was cold and move in to lie next to him to keep him warm… Or the fact that although they used their very aggressive abilities and terrible teeth together with their bone crushing pressure to manage, chastise and even demote him – they would clean him – right down to delicately removing the sleep from his eyes with their incisors.
I was mesmerised!

ROFL :D, there are currently several Laura's on HP, and with 'holistic' as part of their user names,so there'spotential for great confusion among the HP pack, ...but no, don't let's get into alphas, don't let's even go there!!! We are all equal here, so don't you even think of quoting Mr Orwell at me
The forthcoming prog on wolvesis on Channel 5, as you said, this Friday 18 May at 8.00 pm. Earmarked for viewing.
In the meantime, did youhappen to watch this one:

RE: "The Wolf Man" Radio Interview Tonight
Watched the wolfman programme tonight. Very interesting indeed. Would like to have seen a bit more on the interaction with the wolves. Found it fascinating, could do with more programmes like this. Think it helps dispells the myths people have about various animals.
RE: "The Wolf Man" Radio Interview Tonight
I watched it too. Incredible what some people will do. (But it does annoy me when after each commercial break they have to repeat half of what we've just seen. It happens in just about every documentary nowadays. Sorry[sm=offtopic.gif])

RE: "The Wolf Man" Radio Interview Tonight
i wanted to watch it but after seeing the advert over an over and a wolf licking his teeth it put me off. I couldn't handle doing that myself...but I do like wolves but the guy scares me you'd have to be a particualr type of person to be able to do that.
RE: "The Wolf Man" Radio Interview Tonight
The programme as a whole was quite an insight!
I'm also so glad the world still has a fair number of very individual and "different" people. Let's face it, it wasn't just an experiment. ;)So far as I could tell (some facts were slightly unclear) he carried on with them after the 2 years, and ends up calling them his family. I didn't get any sadness from him that his wife took the kids and house and left him (which I think one can understand).
Funny that Sunanda should make her off-topic comment: I've never been more struck by that annoying habit than during that programme. A one-minute sum-up each time, yes.
But isn't it great to have such one-off peoplein this world? (Of various kinds.)
Well - gotta go now and rub my back and hair through my pasta, sauce, and steamed veggies, so that all my pals will know where I've been and what I've been up to.

RE: "The Wolf Man" Radio Interview Tonight
I watched it as a lover of wolves, although it nearly made me sick when the wolves were licking his teeth etc...too much footage there me thinks!!![:'(]
But I have to say that it was lovely to see the wolves from a different aspect and the programme on the whole was fascinating and 'different' even if the guy himself was a little scary [sm=speechless-smiley-040.gif] I am glad I watched it.
