My goddaughter lent me the dvd of it last week. It was a nice film and well cast.
Yes, I did cry a little at the end!! -
but not as much as you by the sound of it- I always cry like that after "Out of Africa" and "Dances with Wolves" my two all time faves.

My Mum has this film on DVD and iv watched it a few times now. It always has me in floods of tears...my mum put it on a few weeks ago, as no one believed her how much this film made me cry. My family were all chuckling at me, although there was tears all round. I just think it is such a beautiful story, and so sad too. I think dementia is one of the cruelest diseases.

Ohhh darn, I picked this movie up at Tesco's last night as it sounded familiar. It was only £4, wish I got it now, might drag hubby back through there today to get it. I love a good weepy now and again. My hubby hates them, but it's always him with the sniffles at the end.

Hi - my daughter was watching it and I got into it, bought it for my boyfriend. We watched it together and both blubbed :(, but in a good way 🙂 x

Well just dragged my hubby to tesco's and got it, he has sworn he will not watch it with me....we'll see!

OMG!!!

I've just watched this movie this afternoon with my hubby, (I knew I'd get him to watch it)

I am still crying and sniffling 30 mins later. That was just heartbreaking, I was determined I'd be okay, especially after reading the ending on here, but lordy be I was sobbing. Even my hubby got an attack of hayfever. 😉

Thanks for the reccommendation everyone. A brilliant movie. Gonna watch Somewhere In Time Tomorrow.

I've never seen, Somewhere In Time, before, I sat and watched it this evening, I couldn't wait till tomorrow. I've had this movie for months now, but never bothered watching it, I think it must of been reccommended to me at some point. But I've just finished watching it, oh my another heart wrencher.

I made a little post a while ago about my German Sheppard dog Shadow eating tissue, well today he's had a real treat, soggy tissues are everywhere off me, from all the crying I've done. I really must go and watch some really hard action movie now. I gotta toughen myself up. lol

Edit to say that I feel like the lady in the film (having Alzheimer's) I've just realised i've blooming seen it already, and not that long ago either. Wot am I like??? lol

Thanks for the reminder Angel. I am off to bed to watch it coz most of my stuff is in storage, including the big TV. Good excuse to get a good rest.
