I sat through 3+ hours of Alexander last night. (My bottom is still numb[:-]) He died at age 32 - if he died an old man I would still be sitting there.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be and I quite liked the hero being shown with faults and weaknesses rather than just a cardboard hero. The battle scenes were amazing. The acting - well, I want to know why they had to speak with strong Irish brogues (including Val Kilmer:eek:) and Angelina Joli spoke with a strong Russian accent weird.

Having said that ..... I'll eagerly await Ridley Scott's "Kingdom of Heaven" story of 3rd crusade when it's released in May. Give Alexander a miss unless you have the hots for Colin Farrell (which I don't).
