Did anyonw watch a programme called "bumfights; a cause for concern" on FIVE last night?
It was digraceful. I couldn't believe some of the things i was seeing. How these people are allowed to still go on and make another film is beyond belief.[:o]
RE: Cause for concern
Hello Laura
I saw this advertised in the TV guide but didn't watch it. What was it all about?

RE: Cause for concern
Basically it involved a group of boys that decided to make a film in 2001 which followed in the step of Jackass, but to another level.[&:]
They told a homeless man that they would by him beer for taking part and when they were rich to give him money. They proceeded to beat him up and get him to do really dangerous stunts, and filmed it (not pleasant)
Then as word spread other "groups" formed and videoed horrific scenes of violence. They named themselves the "3 -11" boys and would pick on people walking past and beat them and kick them to, well what can i say, a pulp, recording it all the time. Using fire extinguishers and anything they could find.:(. They ended up on an attempted murder charge for throwing a brick at a car travelling at 90mph (which was trying to flee from them) and near killing a 16 year old boy. Who now has a dent in his face and sever mental trauma. It was disgraceful, it really was.
Then finally it travelled to Australia, where a group of lads tried to get a homeless bloke to take part, he said no so they burnt down his hut (with him in it) and killed him.
Bascially they said that this sort of groups are forming all over the world. And now the original group (bumfight) are now making a film about prostitutes, heroin addicts and the mentally ill.
No one can do anything cos its low budget, home recorder stuff that they can only ban after made (but they still get put on the internet)
Not a pleasant programme to watch, but once i'd started i had to continue as i couldn't believe my eyes[:@]
