I have been reading these posts with great interest and the other day decided to ask a question before I went to sleep.
Anyway, in the morning when I woke up an 'answer' came into my head, which was "Look at what was in front of you". Strangely, this made me look at things from a different angle and has helped me to see that I was living a bit of an illusion at the time. I was then able to put things into perspective, which I couldn't do before.
Who do you think answered me? Also, I am still confused about whether to direct questions to a guardian angel, spirit guide or archangel??? Does it matter who you ask? Please help.

Isn't it great when this sort of thing happens? For me, I tend not to delve into the 'who/why/what' area. I try just to open to the experience, to absorb and possibly learn. Certainly to accept.
So I have to ssay that I have no idea what name to put on the essence that answered you, although I know of several possible names for what is essentially, in my belief, the Oneness of Being.
As for where you direct your questions: you say:
Does it matter who you ask?
and I would say 'how can it possibly matter?' But then I also say 'how can it matter what name you give to anything?'
