Hi All.
I am responding to the thread in a different way because it is in the Forum [Mystical] >> Spirituality . As the title of the thread says 'What is the meaning of the birthdays?', I would like to say that:
The first day of our entry into this world is celebrated throughout our life with gaiety and fun by young and old combined with prayers seeking for better future. This is the day when the embodied soul again enters the world for further experiences in its cycles of evolution before it finally returns back to the original state of its oneness with the Divine.
As infants we dont remember our past lives and our mind is fresh to know and receive all that we experience with our senses and we are very receptive to the Origin from where we came. Gradually as we grow up, our receptivity of primordial innocence and love get retarded and the logical mind associated with our vital and physical being controls our actions.
On our birthdays this receptivity again comes back to us with the same intensity as on the first day when we came into this world as infant. When we look at an infant, we can feel that they are very near to the Divine in their state of pure innocence. All differences of race, religion, and environment bear an influence on us as we grow up to be an individual. Like the Divine, the infants anywhere in the world are identical in their reactions and responses.
As The Mother has said:
"...birthdays. It is an occult phenomenon that occurs invariably, without our knowledge, on this particular day of the year. The soul leaves behind the body and journeys up and up till it merges into the Source in order to replenish itself and absorb from the Supreme Its Power, Light and Ananda and comes down charged for a whole year to pass. Then again and again... it continues like this year after year."

thanks gillyann and Naru, number 5 sounds good to me, i do find that my stars change rom gemini to cancer depending on what paper i read.
like the moon effects the sea differently each day of the year, i fell that the body is effected also, like the earth we are 70% water, so every day of the year the universe is set a peticular way, and when you are born, you are born to that setting, so to speak. so only on your birthday are you at one, your setting matches the earth or universe.
although that sounds a little bla bla bla, you know what i mean; dont you?
