RE: What did Jesus look like?
I agree with you, Gilly. If we are going to recognise Jesus as a personal light in our lives, then he must have an image that's personal to us. What he looked like in life is frankly, immaterial. It's how he appears to us now that counts.

RE: What did Jesus look like?
Mmmmm… what did he look like / does he look like…?
I know someone that has had – let’s say “an interaction” with several Masters (and I have very good reason to hold credibility for this person) including Jesus and this person has told me that a picture I possess is a very good likeness of Jesus… The picture I have was supposed to have been taken as a photograph in Mexico in 1991… since then it has been copied extensively throughout the world. However, try as I might, I cannot find an online copy of it to give you a link to see it… the closest I can do is the picture of Jesus on this page: http://www.mahatma.co.uk/ami.htm but it’s not the same one…
The key that my colleague emphasises is in the ‘look’ in the eyes of the figure – not the appearance or the face as such… I used to think that He would have naturally had a middle eastern appearance for purely obvious geographical reasons… but I’m not so sure anymore.
Incidentally, my colleague assures me that these Masters are as active now in the world as they have ever been; it’s just that ‘we’ don’t realise it. They can be with body or without at their will.
It’s an interesting life…

Actually Sol, amazingly enough, that picture looks very similar to the actor who portrayed Jesus in the film I wrote about.:D

RE: What did Jesus look like?
What did Jesus look like - so many different aspects to his multi-dimensionality, his mother Mary, Thomas and Magdalene knew him the best. Yes I can relate and resonate with the story from Gillyann in the garden. He also went there for solace when in dispair to receive guidance from GOD.
Yes Jesus did demonstrate very human traits and some of these quotes below show him to be just as human as you and I, but he did become the awakened and enlightened one the Christ, just like Paul states in the bible that we all can become Christ.
And ye are Christ's and Christ is GOD's.
1 Corinthians 3:23
Paul also states that he was crucified for his weakness.
For though he was crucified through weakness, ye liveth by the power of GOD. Gal. Chapt 13. 4.1
His weakness was due to the way in which he communicated, hence why it is so important that we learn to communicate and speak from the heart. We can learn from the strength of Jesus and also his weakness for as he said you can do this even better then I.
Jesus said I tell my mysteries to those that are worthy of my mysteries 62 He who finds himself, of him the ( rest of the) world is not worthy111. Gospel of Thomas
Jesus said Why do you call me, "Lord, Lord" and then not do as I say? I will show you what the person who comes to me,
hears what I have to say and acts accordingly is really like. That person is like someone building a house, who digs deeply and lays the foundation on bedrock. The rain pours down, the floods rise in a torrent (emotions) and the winds blow and beat upon the house, but it does not fall. It is built on rock. But the one that listens and does nothing is like the person who builds a house on sand with no foundations. When the river (river of life) bursts against it, it collapses immediately and is destroyed.
The Jewish priests certainly did tire of Jesus and his righteousness if we accept what is written in scripture. They were tired of being called blind masters and hypocrites and having double standards.
Mother Mary said his righteous anger was created by his frustration, the root cause being his impatience. Hence why the words she uses most often is patience child.
This piece of scripture from the NIV John 10 Jesus is challenged by the Jews and he answers them.
22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
Depending on how one views some of the above statements will ascertain whether you think the Jewish priests thought that Jes
