Not sure if this is in the right place??
Could anyone explain the difference between twin flames and soul mates please. Have been on a site but it was so long winded, so could someone just give me the general idea please.

Basically, my understanding is....
you have more than one soul mate but only one twin flame. Your twin flame is the other half of your being, apparently many aeons ago, when time began, we were both male and female, we were one. then with the 'falling' of our souls/beings we got split in two. This is why so many people are looking for their twin flame as they feel they will feel complete with them. The term soul mate has been confused with this. A soul mate is someone who is probably from you soul family and you have a close link to on a soul level. A good book, (that is a quick read) is called soul mates and twin flames by Prophet.

I found my twin flame and its a long interesting story. Yes we were once a whole soul and we could never agree a on things this was why we split.. If twin flames are brought together agian it is because there is very important work for them to do in this life time.
I know this to be true because I have lived it and we did do a lot of important spiritual work together.
