Maria mentioned ‘The Thief’ and it inspired me to ask will you recognise Christ when he comes like a thief in the night?

1 Thessalonians 5:

4But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

Jesus showed us the way of love and how to achieve redemption and preservation through self mastery. When he died it was his old self that died, so that he could become one with God.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

To discover the seed of Christ within is mighty indeed ! To merge the soul with the spirit is true divinity.

The dead e.g. the closed minded, closed hearted, the un-awakened to spiritual reality and the fact that we are immortal.

1 Corinthians 15:51-53

51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. We will become one with God.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

You can all teach your soul to fly and become one with God.

Love beyond measure
