Hello John

I find the whole "what is going to happen in 2012" debate really interesting and at times I have been quite worried about what it's going to mean for us all. At the moment I feel quite accepting in a "what will be, will be" sense, but I am really interested to hear of other people's thoughts on what it all means, as it all contributes to my understanding of course. Undoubtedly I think something MUST happen because besides anything else, there is so much expectation surrounding the date and this in itself will generate some kind of shift in consciousness (and it has already begun I think).

Anyway rather than start rambling on, I wanted to ask what you meant by the quote below. What do think think is actually going to happen?

The Bible predicts that the righteous and those who believe in God shall receive Glorified bodies and I believe that this coincides with the unification of our Higher self or Lightbody or the Higher self/Lightbody becoming our human form-the birth of the New Man and race of Light.
Therefore in 2012 a New World shall be here and a New Man-The Shining ones shall appear and this I believe is us in all of our glory.

I am a Christian Spiritualist that leans towards Gnosticism and 'living and learning from the evidence of my experience' although in a recent survey it said Hinduism LOL!

First let me say that the 'new age' is not a religion.

Secondly we are moving into the golden age.

Third yes all paths are uniting and leading to the source.

Forth the walls of separation are coming down religions will become part of history! It is all part of the divine plan.
I might add I doubt this will by 2012! Jesus said 'do not not be deceived by those that build upon my foundations with gold, silver, wood and straw' eg. buildings, churches and temples. If there is a religion in the future it will be the 'religion of experience'.

My feeling is that due to the great speed of our progress of coming into oneness with GOD and all that is; new discoveries will completely change our view of the world and that includes a lot that is currently taught in the new age. A majoriity of what has been taught is of the 3rd material dimension and most has no place in the 5th dimension of Christ/Buddha/Super Consciousness, the target has always been for us to be in this super state of being by 2012 and many are on track.

I use the term 'it is the end of the world as we have known it' not the end of the world.

The rest of what you have said I agree with but even the Mayans themselves do not know what to expect, but they do say that it is the biggest gateway of opportunity that humanity has experienced for milleniums.

The new positive human being, the new adam is certainly being born. Threads called 'Rainbow of Hope' and 'Sacred Union with the Divine' on this forum do give further insight on this.

I would like to respond to the following people.

I think that expectation of 2012 is minor in comparison to the want and ultimately the need of change.
The World has become very evil and wicked.
Read the New testament.........2nd Timothy 2.3-9
I tend to believe in the Catholic view of the endtimes.
God will adress the situation of evil that is spiralling out of control and remove them from the Earth if they refuse to repent.
The righteous Souls that will remain and receive a "glorified body" in the image of God(light) and then the almighthy will make everything new.
I tend to believe the writings of Jay Weidner(except his views of the Roman Catholic church) in which a New Man will emerge out of the good of humanity.
I think that this basically means that our Soul(Higher self/body of Light) will be our only form..........people won't have to meditate to find the superior Light for they will be the superior Light.
Hence humanity will be a unified race of Light-the Shining ones.
God and his Son Jesus are pure Light and those who do there will shall be like them.
For your information these priviledges are not just exclusive to Catholics/Christians ANYONE who has led a good and just life is one of Gods people.
I think also that family values and Moral standards will be high on the Worlds list of priorities as well as peace on Earth.

I would like to say that even though I am Catholic I have spoken to spiritualists in the past and I have nothing but the greatest respect for them.
Learning from experience is always the best way but my learning from experience led me back to the Catholic Church not away from it.
I think that 2012 is definately an important year because of the Mayan calender and the St Malachy prophecies that states that after John Paul 2 we are only two Popes left away from the end of the age.
People knock the Church too much and I think we need to understand the significence of the Church.
The most important divinity exists within me and you but the Holy Communion keeps me on the right track and thats why I consider Church an important part of Gods will.
I think that the religion of experience lives within us already and what we have experienced we can share.
We will come into the oneness of God(body of Christ) and we will merge with all that is here..........evil won't be here and evil isn't immortal-it will die out and has nothing to do with us and is most definately NOT apart of the source.

The reason there will not be anymore Pope's is because there will not be any more church - that is GOD's will.

Hebrews 7

18The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19(for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

This former regulation is talking about the law of sin which was man made.

Evil means less good in its original translation.

As I never left Christ in the first place I never had to return, but I did leave the church like millions of others.

I agree that humanity are only now learning the new convenant of LOVE that Jesus tried to share with us 2,000 year's ago sadly the church fathers dogma, doctrine and anti-love got in the way.

Our final reminder is written in Luke 6:27-38

27 'But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. 29 To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. 30 Give to every one who begs from you; and of him who takes away your goods do not ask them again. 31 And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.

32 'If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?

E.g we reap what we sow - karma

The church will now reap what it has sown due its crimes against humanity. Not a judgement but a fact, it is the nature of the spiritual laws.

While people still think of 'evil' and any 'enemy' it will continue to exist, for this is part of 'enemy thinking' and as the Essenes and Jesus tried to teach us 'energy follows thought' so what we think we will create - for we are the creators of our reality hence why the Mayans are making few predications about 2012. But they do know that the responsibility is in the hands of humanity to choose which way we wish to go.....
