I don't think this'll necessarily go down so well on the forum. 😀 So it did just occur to me in your defence, we must remember that basically all the peoples of the past and even present which many idolise as having been 'spiritual' - from present indigenous tribes to the original Christians, and American Indians to the Maya - would have done the same...

Mind you, New Zealand has a particularly good history at promoting teachings on the benefits of vegetarianism, especially with regard to the 'vibration' or spiritual quality of what we take in.
