I have decided that is your mind is safe & at peace then where ever you lay your hat will be home & no matter how much money you have you will always have food.
This has got to be a doing time, because I can't dream anymore.

Hi all
Well, as many of you know, I have managed to get out of the rat race for half the year at least, and now spend my winters in India. I know now that I can manage on far less money, and with fewer 'amenities' (such as a car) than I would ever have thought possible. And now when I come back to England I appreciate things far more (green fields, gardens etc) and am better equipped to do my job with integrity and calm and enjoyment. (I am a tourist guide.) Sometimes I am drawn to share something of my journey with my passengers. Life is pretty wonderful really. I feel very blessed and am excited at what may be awaiting me. To all who are considering changing their lives I can only say 'come on in, the water's lovely!) Good luck and God bless.

This is a good thread, I've had this thought on my mind for many months and eventually realised what I need to do.
there's nothing worse than waking in the morning with the feeling of dread about the day ahead. Even though I own my own business, make a decent living from it , there's something missing.
As my wife is from the Phillipines, a poorish country, we have decided to invest over there, spend around 6 months a year there and use these investments to help others, provide a few jobs and have some other ideas in the head for thought and due implementation.
All of a sudden I feel excited with it all.....the rat race is nearing an end.

You may find, as I have, that there will be many tests and even more moments of "calling". Be true to the energy which is calling you to BE in tune with your path. All things fall into place when you center yourself with that divine energy which is awakening you more every day. What a wonderful thread and I agree with all of the posts, most specifically, those of you who stated that we need to be in the system to learn, to make a difference, and to heal ourselves and others. However, if you are currently feeling a strong pull to leave the rat race, you should follow that feeling from the heart and stay centered as you take the next step up the ladder of light... be a master of intent in your own life.
