Hi all,
needed to ask something or need advie. If you unintentionally stop somone from learning a lesson in life or take on some of the responsibility for their life in a bid to help them, does that mean you could also share their bad Karma?
Hope that makes sense and is under right heading?
Thanks

RE: Bad Karma?
As far as I know, Karma is accumulated by intentional and unintentional actions. You cannot share someone else’s Karma, no. But the act of interfering with another’s path, whether your intentions are good or bad, or intentional or unintentional is bad Karma in itself…
RE: Bad Karma?
Hi Amber,
not sure if that helps, i guess it does. i do feel rather confused about this issue at the moment. I seem to remember reading somewhere when you marry you becoem one and therefore their karma is your karma, does marriage make a difference??

RE: Bad Karma?
Hi Beth,
Gosh Karma is never an easy subject as it has so many variables Ive copied & pasted a short reply I made else where on the boards but will try to expand on it if i can. I am pushed for time at the moment but I will re visit this tomorrow..
Yes I agree totally we plan & agree pre incarnation what we will experience in our lives.Bad Karma comes in when due to our freewill we don't follow the agreed learning of lessons & or do something bad that was not a part of our agreement. So say for example if you murdered someone & it was due to a spiritual contract, lessons would be learned for all parties hopefully.. but if that murder was NOT a part of your spiritual contract then yes Karmic debt would be enforced.many people have & are spending an eternity trying to get rid of the debts they acrue. Not all Karma is bad there has to be a balance & much karma is good too
. Would you take on someone elses bad Karma .. My belief NO you wont, but you may create your own Karma??
Then there is also the Question of is this a part of your Karmic path to share the burden? see what I mean by so many varieables. A lot if not all of this life is based on Intent..
It is my belief that we agree our lessons pre-incarnation and many others agree to help us achieve our goals because they too have a lesson that can be learned from the experience too. Soo the person who you think you unintentionally took his lesson away from. That it was in actuall fact you who was learning the lesson,& releasing Karma it was your lesson nas well aS theirs . I believe that every thing happens for a reason. It's all interlinked all intertwine'd.....
I cannot say for certain if this is your lesson their lesson or both as I am not able see that. but it sounds to me like lerssons are being learnt.
Sorry if its all a bit jumbled , I'm tryng to fit it all in b4 i get tready for work .. Phew think i'm just about there.
Walk gently in love life & peace Maria
RE: Bad Karma?
I agree with all the other replies above - and agree with Maria that karma can be complicated! That's why, to me, it takes a 'cosmic computer' to work it all out. I call that computer The Mind of God.
I agree that karma can be made unintentionally, but if we can make it unintentionally there's not much point worrying about it. I'd say this must by nature be far less grave than intentional wrong-doing by will. My advice would be to relax a little on the subject of karma and just try to be good - 'Christian' or whatever spiritual belief. Do unto others as one would have them do unto you. All the advice along these lines of the ages. Then we'll do more good than any unintentional wrong, and we don't need to be too concerned about the complexities of the Law. Being a good person is in many ways simple. The heart tells you what is right.
In my opinion the thing about married partners sharing karma doesn't mean that you instantly take on, literally, anyone else's karma. It means that it's such a committed and close relationship that we are committing ourselves to bear the brunt of another's returning karma (in illness, viscissitude, bad times as well as great times) and stay by their sides, helping them through. So we share each other's in that way, not literally like in sharing out the sand in a bag on the instant of marriage. For example, if the partner's karma affects them financially, then it affects both.
Complex but interesting subject! I also believe in group karma such as that of a community or nation. Another subject...
