RE: Mind Body Spirit
hi, I would agree with Amber - you can learn a lot from them, and make a friend or two!
Although Venetian`s experience seems fantastic, they don`t seem to be like that anymore!
I went to a small MBS gathering yesterday, I went for a look round, not expecting much and had three really good healing sessions, one reike, one shamanic and a homeopathic/aromatherapy massage on my shoulders. All for a fiver each.
I was feeling really stressed when I went in , and felt great(ish) when I came out!
Also I bought some Doreen Virtue Godess Oracle cards - which seemed rellt inexpensive to me and one or two nic naks as well (am a sucker for crystals!)
It led to a few contacts too, am going to look into a Reike course and possibly crystal healing
So all in all it was a good experience!!

RE: Mind Body Spirit
Hi all,
I enjoy both taking part and visiting! Some of the larger MBS shows loose some of the atmosphere, but thats just my feeling. I've met some great folk whilst doing shows and thoroughly enjoy the whole ambience of them! but then they do vary as with anything, some are better than others.

Sara,
Did you go to Brentwood? I was there on Sat & Sun, and helped out on 'Awakening' on sunday. Who did you book your course with?
RE: Mind Body Spirit
I always find these fairs interesting but don't feel as compelled to go as I used to.
The first one I went to in Manchester was where I found Reiki (or it found me!) but I agree with Amber that I have learnt the most by talking to the people on the stalls.
I have to confess to buying more crystals when I go though!
RE: Mind Body Spirit
hi Azalia,
I went to a very small one in Colchester, at my sons school.
it was only on from 10 til 4pm.
Haven`t booked a course yet, something is holding me back - maybe it`s not the right time yet!?
