A long time back, in the late 80’s, I had a friend that could see ‘Great Beings’ that would visit our home while we meditated or held long, deep esoteric conversations. She described them as though made of white and yellow light with an aura that filled the room… Their eyes were slanting upwards and of a purple, violet colour. They never (as far as I know) actually spoke or interacted with us – they would just visit, stay a while and then leave. We assumed them to be some form of ‘Higher Devas’, being relatively naïve at the time. I could feel their prescence, but I don’t remember whether I could see them too.
More recently, I have the good fortune to know someone that has extraordinary clairvoyance and holds conversation mentally with Masters on such a regular basis as to not even consider it to be ‘unusual’… Imagine my humbling thoughts when I sense the presence of a Great Soul in the room and for us to engage in such a conversation as this: I mentally ask /think of questions ( I actually 'say' nothing)– and my companion would then be told the answers by our Great Visitor and would verbally pass them to me…
On some occasions, the Master would appear in astral form very well dressed, a precise (almost Saville Row) suit and tie – and it was on these occasions that He would be attending to affairs ‘in the world’. At other times, He might visit dressed in a white (almost Ceremonial) gown – and at these times, he would be attending to matters in Shamballa or at one of the Retreats.
On some occasions, my companion will actually leave the physical body and go to the Master at his location for instruction or for other reasons, often returning with the most profound tranquility of mind at the presence of such places / Beings that I could not myself perhaps even contemplate.
I have never, in all my experiences with the Masters – ever, found even the slightest hint of any lower emotion, sarcasm or piousness. Their humour is of such a refined nature that it can never be degenerated in any way. The ‘tests’ that my companion and I experience as a result of our ‘scaling the ladder’ are always overseen with warmth and care – as a parent to their child taking the first few steps… On such moments, as much as a Master is present – they usually remain completely silent – observing our thoughts as we try to avoid ‘chasing our own tails’ and find that invisible door out of the problem we at that moment face. Sometimes they might discuss the test – all about it, but there is never a ‘helping hand’ – because we have to climb the ladder ourselves; through personal effort and dedication.
I often read and hear about the experiences of other people – about how ‘this or that’ has happened to them, or how a 'Great named Soul’ spoke to them or communicated in some fashion with them… Nearly every single time, when I reflect to my own experiences, I feel as though these people can’t be experiencing ‘That named Soul’ – because if they did – it would never happen that way – The Masters would never comment on so trivial a matter – or in such a (to be honest) coarse a manner. They’d never surely ‘pander to that personality’ – or would they? Are these people being duped by their own (often quite extraordinary) egos? I often wonder ‘do these people really experience that’ – or is it simply yet another ‘gradual dream experience’ that leads that person to slowly awaken the Higher Truth within… It’s easy to spot the ‘Ego Channellers’ – those that sometimes wear outlandish costumes and charge phenonemal prices to attend their workshops, those that advertise to channel ‘So and So’… But what of everyone else – surely not everyone is dreaming – there must be some folk that are awake – or awakening?
My experience has led me to a level of awareness of ‘how life is’ for me – and I use this to guage whether others have achieved a similar level themselves. I have often thought how lonely this path is to walk. Just today, my companion and I were discussing how long it might be before we might meet
RE: Masters experiences...
Hello Sol,
Once upon a time there was a sceptic of great measure. He, without knowing, was limiting himself greatly. He did not understand that 'life' presented itself in many and various ways, according to the experience which was ordained for that individual before arriving on this planet.
He, though full of grace, wise and magnificent, failed to see the obvious; there is more than one way to skin a cat. Indeed.
Did this prevent him from evolving? No. However he did, through his own poor judgement, prevent the love from flowing. He failed to realise that 'love' allows itself to flow into many different rivers in many different ways. Did this mean 'error'? No, this only meant diversity. One man's experience solely his own. Different, yes. However, dear one, we would say; look to the similarities and allow the differences. The differences may one day become the similarities.
We would ask that all open their hearts to the experiences of those about you. Fail to do this and it will be you who suffers; not your friend who is experiencing 'life' in his own unique way.
Charlatons, yes there are charlatons. An experience. A pitfall one must experience in order to learn. That is all. Kindness needed. Once upon a time this was you.
Reflect not poorly on your kind, know that there be charlatons, and allow, allow, allow.
Many blessings

RE: Masters experiences...
Hi Sol
The Ascended Masters; an avenue of communication that many claim to have and indeed some do. Can they be seen? Again many like to believe so and we would say that the belief is so strong that the vision is easily created.
Within the realms of spirituality there seems to be an aura of elitism attached to the ability to communicate with the Masters. Can we ask the question why is this so when all are created and born equal? If the words are truly from the Masters then the energy and unconditional love that accompanies the words is worthy of further examination.
Much of the practice of spirituality in truth encourages separation rather than oneness. What we are told we must do in order to communicate with the Masters involves personal control rather than acceptance. Each and every single being on earth has the same potential for communication with the Masters. Ego as you so rightly say is the impediment to insight.
How can the communication be described; at times it is a paradox; the gentleness in a few words is extraordinary yet in the next breath the words have a power that is without parallel. Do they tell us what to do; no! but they will offer a suggestion as to the direction in which we might look. The free will is never interfered with.
In itself the word Ascended is wholly inaccurate many of the Masters have chosen never to be incarnated on earth. Indeed it must be said that this with hindsight is a wise choice. To move from a place where the only emotion is that of unconditional love to one where the turmoil of humanness is very apparent is commendable. To have lost the memory of the abilities possessed before that challenge is undertaken proves to be beyond those incarnated humans.
Sol; why would it be that the experiences you have are the same as another? You and your good lady are partners but also very different individuals. Does it not follow that your insights and conclusions would be equally different? Individuality is a quality to be prized, respected and encouraged in the lifetime of each individual.
Judgment exists on earth and in the lower aspects of Spirit. Those that are within the realm of the Masters have no need of such emotions they through understanding and effort have moved beyond such emotions. Rather they wait for the opportunity to interact with each and every human being to the degree that they are allowed.
So are you alone in your insight; yes my friend you are a unique being, your insights are for you personally, they are gained through your desire to grow. Your partner has an equal uniqueness. Share your insights with each other, grow and respect the individuality of each other. Is it likely that those you talk with share the same understanding? Well can we say that you will have the opportunity to share your personal insight and then leave it to the listener to decide for themselves as to their course of action.
To be authentic to your person, to be true to your insight and ascertain the truth of any words that are perported to be from the Ascended Masters is the recommendation offered. Choice my friend is for you to make."
RE: Masters experiences...
Hi Sol, hope you don't mind my snipping and quoting here...best way to get to the points which spark me off!
I often read and hear about the experiences of other people – Nearly every single time, when I reflect to my own experiences, I feel as though these people can’t be experiencing ‘That named Soul’ – because if they did – it would never happen that way – The Masters would never comment on so trivial a matter – or in such a (to be honest) coarse a manner. What you need to remember, IMHO, is that everyones' experiences of those in spirit are according to their need. You reflect others' experiences to yours, but yours are unique! As an example, in all the years I have thought of myself as a shaman, I have yet to find anyone who can walk in my reality and relate to it as I do, yet many people term themselves 'shaman'.
My experience has led me to a level of awareness of ‘how life is’ for me – and I use this to guage whether others have achieved a similar level themselves. I have often thought how lonely this path is to walk.
It may seem lonely, but there are many, many out there like you, with their own unique experiences and ways of perceiving. I think of us all as a huge 'clan' of spiritual people, with the spirit of Oneness to connect us all. We are never alone - it just seems that way. But it would be nice to share... 😉
We unintentionally feel as though there is a huge crowd behind us, climbing the ladder, and we do our best to help those that ask us for our advice in appropriate circumstances, but when we ourselves look around – we seem to find that we are alone. The ladder is there at our grasp – yet the wood disappears above as though it isn’t there at all…
A good friend and I were shown this some time ago... we were told that many waited for us to find our path, to go ahead for them. That didn't mean we were special, just that we had chosen to open a way forward, just as others have done and continue to do for us. Sol, there are many, many ladders and many souls alongside you - you simply see all that is necessary at the time. Far better to look back and see how far you've come than see how far there is to go, IMO. Looking ahead just causes confusion in the human experience. Back to perceptions...
Are my companion and I the only ones that think this way?
On a personal, unique level, yes. On a Universe-wide, spiritual level, no!
Blessings...

RE: Masters experiences...
Energyatwork,
To quote another of recent post… kind regards…
I did not actually use the term ‘Ascended Master’… and in all of my own experience, never has any Master of whom I have had contact referred to themselves as Ascended; that is a human perception.
Within the realms of ‘spirituality’ there seems to be an aura of elitism attached to the ability to communicate with the Masters. Can we ask the question why is this so when all are created and born equal?
Personally speaking, I disagree that we are all born equal in the context of evolution, no two can be the same. The same culture, upbringing perhaps… very similar bodies – but equal, no certainly we are not born equal. Unless you are specifically and only referring to the general overview of life – in that we are born repeatedly and given opportunity for growth – and in that sense we are equal.
Moonfeather… kind regards…
Sol, there are many, many ladders and many souls alongside you - you simply see all that is necessary at the time. Far better to look back and see how far you've come than see how far there is to go, IMO. Looking ahead just causes confusion in the human experience.
I don’t think you understood my point here; I was metaphorically referring to the passage of experience in spiritual evolution – my perception of the ladder being invisible ahead of me is meant to reflect that we don’t usually see our path lit ahead of us. I am more inclined to observe my current reality from the perspective of the ladder than to look behind me, ahead the path is not visible – and correctly so. Of course there are many ladders and many climbers there upon; each has their own. It’s not really so surprising that I simply don’t percieve others around me; that is my personal stage of development. I am just discussing how different my ladder seems to be from that of others, and why it's so rare to find another 's ladder similar to ones own.
I think what I was trying to describe was that I personally find that so very few people with whom I encounter contact will describe their ladders in a way that I recognise the rungs of my own stance… That is not a judgemental comment – its just how I honestly feel. Like a owl perched on a stone wall, watching vultures, pidgeons, sparrows, crows – all manner of life around, but so few owls… I doubt if I can say it clearer than that. As though – as much as I am fully aware of ‘to each their own path and experience’ – still I sometimes reflect in wonder whether we are really are so very different in our paths from one another?
My descriptions of personal experience with the Masters – my thoughts of how it is for me – was meant not to say ‘how different or special it is for me’ – but to try to indicate how I feel when I see others describing their experiences… Usually So very different to my own – where my personal experience has led me to observe certain qualities that all Higher Beings (with whom I have had contact) share.. Yet when I read / hear the experiences of others – these ‘qualities’ are, more often than not missing. Now that is not to say these other folk are all not actually experiencing something – but simply guided by the qualities of the HBs alone – why do I feel these other folk are often perhaps not actually experiencing HBs?
It’s as though – you talked with Mountain Devas – and the Mountain Devas spoke so eloquently and apt to your thoughts that it triggered you to take note of their language and expression.. Then later on, another person says they talked with a Mountain Deva, but when you listen to the persons description of their experience, you hear no similarities of language or eloquence or profound expression. So you wonder… is it that I am different to everyone else – or is it that these other people don’t communicate with these Mountain Devas at all, yet think they do… I guess that’s my point – how can I define whether smeone else’s experience is valid and genuine without
