RE: Is there no-one brave enough?

The problem with symbols of any kind is that they can become "sacred".

Often they are simply a means for allowing "trainees" to focus during times of development.

In terms of Reiki, Usui Sensei used the symbols during training with the objective that, as the Reiki practitioner developed to Master level, he/she would no longer need to use the symbols as "switches".

There is a danger with symbols that they become more important than the thing they were originally meant to represent.

with respect, 1..all is here for information and learning and what can there be to learn if there are not errors to learn from.

2. 😉 Whatever path is taken is a process towards a higher truth.

1. Some get tired of hitting their heads on brick walls and getting stuck in a cul de sac, some like to take an easy and steady ride in their ascension and evolvement. Each to their own.

2. Yes I agree in most cases, however as Archangel Michael says 'Some will win the game and some will remain lame' and as Jesus said 'if you are sick then go to find out what this means' e.g if one's life is out of balance and in ill-ease then get to the root cause of the problem.

Well in my reality everything is sacred.

Symbols are part of sacred geometry which is also part of universal consciousness, hence why Spirit like to communicate through symbology. Spirit will never stop using symbols for it is the nature of Spirit, hence why you may see a flower or a have a dream with particular symbology. I am sure that you aware that Carl Jung studied symbology extensively, however I don't think he cracked the code metaphysically and esoterically. 😉

"You are sacred and a treasure to behold, count your blessings as if you are counting gold'.

I am actually aware of Jung (having studied Psychology).
In terms of symbology, though, symbols are representations. In themselves they are nothing. Re cave paintings - the symbols represent (we believe) life at that time. It doesn't mean that those symbols are sacred - what they represented might have been to the people who painted them, but the symbols, per se, were not.

The crucifix is a symbol of Jesus - yet we are told that we should not worship images (symbols). In the eyes of some, the crucifix has become a sacred item - something to be worshipped. As have, indeed, many artifacts throughout religious histories.

I understand the symbols that I train others to make use of. We know their meanings and what they represent but we do not worship them. Symbols are only symbols. Road signs are symbols but I don't think they are sacred.
