i am new on here but i have to tell you i think derek achorah is the best medium i have ever seen.
he does a show called most haunted which is great and he also has books out i have one called "the phsychic adventures of derek achorah."
he is far most the most immpresive medium i have ever seen.
i thought i would just tell you what i thought

I saw him last year. I thought his mediumship was very good but he's a bit flash and a bit of a showman! He annoyed my husband as every other sentence ended with "Aww Bless"

I have seen Derek Acorah live; my husband and myself were very impressed with the intricate accuracies of his readings. We were at the show he mentions at the end of his latest book when a man in Spirit knocked 2 glasses of water off a table on stage because he was annoyed [:@]that Derek was dealing with another Spirit's message rather than his! He has a huge following, mainly due to the Most Haunted programme on cable tv which we always watch. People were queuing along the street from our local Waterstones when he did an Author Signing Session recently. I find him sincere and genuine. A workmate of mine went to another show and thought his readings were rather general in content. I think this shows that Derek is conveying what he himselves receives and isn't embellishing in any way. I admit he's a bit of a showman but "in a nice way" in that he isn't arrogant. He is passionate to pass on what he sees and hears as proof that life goes on on the Other Side. Everyone seemed comforted by his readings when we saw him (a cameraman films the audience member being contacted to a screen set up on stage.) My only criticism is that the Most Haunted Live programmes seem to have become too commercialised....(we hung on a Ticket line at the rate of 50p a minute, as did other family members from other households, and workmates immediately they were advertised) and none of us obtained tickets for the local event in Blackpool recently.[&o] I then heard another colleague's daughter had had someone from the programme in her shop trying to give "surplus" tickets to staff on the actual day. It made me angry also due to the fact that Derek is being commercialised and associated with this practise. The Website was still encouraging people to phone for tickets they had no hope of getting.[sm=banghead.gif] I'd be interested Most Haunted's comments on this.
Anyway, getting back to Derek. If you get the chance, go and see him and make your own mind up then report back!

For me I am not a fan of his I think he give up to easy I think John Edwards is my type of medium he just keep going with his link until they can take it but Acorah just says well take that for later.
He also insists in speaking to his guides out load "ok sam, wait sam" etc
