hello everyone, im new to this. ive heard that finding white feathers is a sign angels are near, is this a good thing or is it a warning of something bad, ive found one in my lounge, we have nothing that has feathers in ,in the house ! the next morning i found one outside my shop doorway as i was putting up the shutter. what does it mean ? i no im a miserable victor meldrew type sometimes but i want to be a nicer chap ! have they come to help me, if so what do i do ? thanks

you pose and interesting question :eek:that has been answered on these forums before, my understanding is that the feathers are a way for the angels to let you know that they are around looking out for you, i am sure that someone on here will be able to give a more in depth view of this

White feathers are indeed said to be a sign that our angels are near. Until about 2 years ago I would have said that this was just a lovely old wives tale, but suddenly I started to find so many white feathers in my life that I began to question my initial judgement. I was going through a particularly difficult time (my dad had just died suddenly) and I began to get white feathers just falling into my lap at odd places - like on trains, in the car, on my desk at work - like you, nowhere where there was anything that had feathers, let alone pure white ones like these.
I began to accept angels into my life - asking them for advice, going to meet them during my meditations etc and that is all you have to do - include them in your daily life and before long I am certain that you will receive plenty of signs that they are working with you. There is nothing hard about angels - they are gentle and accepting of you. There are literally loads of angel resources - books, cards, tapes, music CDs etc that can help you on your way and I would recommend a browse around the MBS section of any good bookshop to find out what you like. I won't specifically recommend any as I have found when people have said what a great book/CD etc something is, I go out and buy it, only to find it isn't for me - so be guided by your own intuition.
Going back to your post - I would certainly not say I have experienced white feathers being a warning of something bad happening, but rather a reassurance that angels are there to guide and protect. I still regularly find white feathers appearing at significant times - often when I have had a difficult day, feeling ill or just going through a rough patch, just to remind me that they are still there and all is as it should be.
If you choose to work with angels I am sure you will find much comfort and soon begin to feel better about yourself (alhtough I am sure there is nothing to worry about there and you are a perfectly nice chap already).

ive been into angels for a few yrs..and yes white feathers are a sign angels are with you.
and they can appear from nowere.
a black feather is a warning something is wrong..
