Just wanted to share this... after some (brief) thought, it seemed more appropriate to post it here. I hope you will indulge me.

Yesterday we visited Rosslyn Chapel for the first time ever (less than an hour down the road!). I've heard all the stuff about the Templars and Masons... hubby has read the Da Vinci Code and deemed it a load of b***s, but I wanted to experience the place. Well worth visiting!

The architecture is astounding but what made it special for me were two things: there's a small chapel down some steep stairs - very sacred feeling there. I felt excited before I went down, and sincerely glad that I'd missed the visitors dowsing with hazel sticks for the Grail... [sm=boring.gif]
As I investigated a small side room I began to hum what I assume was an old hymn - didn't recognise the tune - and when I emerged and aproached the small altar, I found I couldn't ignore it as I usually do in churches (never feel anything in most). No - I had to cross myself, kneel, recite the lord's Prayer and cross myself again - no choice, had to honour the place... and I never cross myself!

After doing so, I was 'released' and went back upstairs. Way too crowded to really feel the essence of the main chapel, but my daughter asked if I'd felt an energy in the far back corner, by a tomb. We investigated and sure enough, the energy was there, giving us both a headache. I picked up that it was a young lady, medievel clothing, dressed in moss green dress, name of Marie-Ann.

Another visitor was wandering up so we left... but later at home I went to draw and there came a sketch of Marie-Ann! 🙂

Hope to visit there again, when it's much quieter!!!

RE: A trip to Rosslyn Chapel

Yes, Roslyn is indeed a fascinating place with lots going on energitically. It can also unfortunately though be very crowded though. I have only viisted once myself in November 2002, as part of a weekend conference on the history of the Templar movement, both ancient and modern. I took my crystal skull Talisman with me which weighs about 5 lbs, as he wanted to do some clearing work of some kind. He accomplished what he needed to, from what I remember, even if I had sore aching shoulders afterwards from carrying him!

I just had this image of you carting your crystal skull around... ouch! It's all right for them...lol. I've had to cart drum, flute and wand over the hills before... Yes, lots of energies darting about... my daughter saw colours everywhere. I wonder if it's due to the size and design or whether there are earth energies already there, as they surmise the lower chapel pre-dates the chapel by many years...? Fascinating place.
