hi,
having had a 'tarot break' for a couple of years, i am ready to reconnect again with the cards.
i always read primarily with Rider Waite, but got discouraged by the 'darker' cards, the way they would shock people having a reading.
so i have been searching for a deck i could feel more happy to use, with images and words that wouldn't unsettle people quite so much.
there is so much choice, but i am quite choosey.... in the end what i have found that i really like is the 'Illuminated Tarot', Rider Waite beautifully repainted with 'Death' now called 'Transformation', and 'The Devil' is 'Illusion'; perfect :).

there is an option to receive these cards with the addition of hand-painted iridescent colours. today i received samples of iridescent painted and unpainted cards (amazing as they come from the US and i only requested on friday!). still have not decided if i will go for the iridescent colours or not.
does anyone else have this deck? any comments, experiences to share about this deck?
best wishes, Jill
