If you have a client who is not happy with their reading and says they cant relate to it in anyway what do you do?

Hi Ellie,

it's usually best to offer a refund, especially if it was an e-mail reading. There can be all sorts of reasons why that happened (there are even some clients, who do that on purpose to get a free reading), but it's not worthwhile delving into. If you feel that there is some hidden issue, then the only thing you can do is accept it and perhaps warn other readers of that particular client.

If the client was honest and just cannot relate to the reading at all, then the service provided was not satisfactory, so it's good customer service to offer a refund.

🙂

Hi Ellie,

From my personal experience it is usually because the person is not willing to believe what has been said and therefore will disagree with the reading. It is of course entirely up to you whether you refund the fee, or you could offer another reading for free perhaps after an agreed time frame to allow some of the events that you have said may occur have a chance to materialise.

Unfortunately there are some clients who deliberately disagree because they don't want to pay and will complain so they get a refund.

Whatever you decide, don’t hang on to the experience as it will cloud everything you do in the future just know you did the best you could for the person and let it go.

🙂

A couple of times when I felt there wasn't a connection I have been perfectly honest with the client.

Do you think that also if the person doesn't hear what they want to hear from their read that changes how they feel about the reading?

Hi Ellie

I am sure that if you have a reading and you don't agree with what is said, it will certainly effect how you view the reading. I have personally had readings and given readings over the years that have been accurate.

However, I have a friend who rarely gets an accurate reading according to her, because she believes the reader should be able to read her without being given any answers to questions which are relevant to the reading i.e. is there a Sagittarian around you? By responding the reading maybe slightly different than if the question is ignored. So the reading in itself whilst accurate may not be quite the same. On occassions I have been present when the reading were given and I know what was said was accurate but even when the events occurred my friend would never admit to that. So her preceptions certainly had an effect on how she viewed the reading but not on its general accuaracy.
