Don't know if this is the right place for this but here goes - a friend of mine (who has always been a bit sceptical even though he seems to have an awareness - hearing things and seeing things) has had a couple of incidences where he has seen "flashing lights", which he describes as stars in the chest region of people. One incident was when he was dealing with a customer at work, he saw flashing lights on the man's chest area, another incident was when he'd taken his MIL to hospital, he saw flashing lights on a patient lay on a trolley. Anyway he's since found out that the customer at work has cancer and this has freaked him out. Could anyone shed any light on what this might be? And how he can deal with it?

I see flashing lights whenever spirit passes from spirit into our earth vibration. Its as if they pass through a window to visit us. The lights occur everywhere, when I watch TV, work at the computer or are with someone. But when I am with someone, the lights are generally to one side of the person. I suggest that your friend get a channelled answer to his experience.

Your friend must be a bit freaked! Just in case he's concerned, make sure he realises that he didn't somehow do any damage himself by seeing the lights - many, many peoplesee them- he may not be worried about this but just in case, I thought I'd say it. 🙂
First thing's first - check that he doesn't suffer from headaches or migraines etc (I used to and prior to them becoming full blown attacks I would see flashing lights or flashing shapes). He may even want to consult a doctor to be sure. This is just to get the possible physical issues out of the way. 😉
On to the psychic/paranormal - many people see spirit lights and they appear to represent different things to different people. Some see them as a forerunner to actual spirits making an appearance; some see them as angel or elemental energies ; or some see them as messages from spirit indicating a particular thing ie that a particular area of the body needs some attention (as I occasionally do in a Reiki session). Publisher's suggestion is a good one and may give your friend some more information, but he can also do this for himself if he chooses to via personal development (psychic, meditation etc) or he could simply look for a pattern to the appearance of the lights and listen to his intuition when they occur to see what they mean.
I guess it all depends on how freaked out he is and whether he wants to investigate further (if he doesn't and is not comfortable - he can ask for the lights to go away - it would seem a shame to do so but he's the onein control after all). 🙂

Yea I see flashing lights all the time too. But I never see them on people. Sometimes I see them when an idea comes into my mind. Sometimes I see them, and I instantly think of spirit. I think they could mean many things, but if the person seeing the flashing lights thinks of spirit, then it may very well be a message from spirit.
Ask your friend what he feels when he sees the lights. Even if its a small feeling, there might be some meaning here.
