I had a very unusual and strange dream the other night. There was a lot to it but i can't remember enough of it to tell it all. The part that i can remember clearly is a little rainbow coloured dog. One minute i was holding it and then i let it go; o remember thinking that i couldn't cope with another pet. Then i was worried incase it didn't belong to anyone and i went frantically looking for it. I spotted it running in a field, and that's all i can remember.
One other part was about a snake. I've always loved snakes and had 3 when i was very young. I remember someone saying they had seen one outside. I was then running in the dark with a torch desperately trying to find it but never saw it.
There was a lot more to it but that's all i can remember, but the part that i keeps popping up in my mind is that little dog. I was like a white dog with rainbow colours over it..strange!
The dog is you hopes for success in what you're doing or plan to do in the near future. The snake in this context is what you success will be to do with. Normally snakes would show a possible warning or something in the near future, but in the context of your dream, I think it's more to do with what you're planning to do in your life. It's possible that you're close to a new relationship or the relationship you're in is coming up to a watershed moment where it's going to become deeper and more committed.
I'm not sure which is the right answer without the rest of the dream.

Whenever I see a rainbow I think of hope.
And when I see my dog I am reminded of unconditional Love.
I agree that rainbows = Hope & dogs = unconditional Love.
Snakes usually signify Wisdom in many ancient cultures.
Also rebirth & immortality (as they shed their skins & move on in a new skin.)
So - could you be actively searching for both? (Aren't we all, at some level?!)
