Yesterday I returned from a trip abroad and had spent most of the plane journey doing some work on myself from the Diana's Cooper book 'Light up your life'.
I was trying to work out who I had any emotional attachments to and wanted to cut ties with peoples and issues that were holding me back.
Anyway I came home and before I went to bed for the first time I said aloud 'I want to be open to my dreams and to whatever messages they hold and to remember them'
So that night I ended up having a very disturbing dream (quite frightening). I dreamt that I was sitting next to a row of people and chatting quite happily to the person either side of me, then I turn to my left and in the distance see a really evil woman with black eyes leading the grim reaper toward us. The grim reaper then gets his axe and kills the person next to me. I turn my eyes away and scream (which I did out loud) and then thats when I work up.
Does anyone know what this could mean as it was a pretty horrid dream and I have never woken screaming before.
Thanks x Lynda
Hi Lynda,
Your dream can be summed up as guilt and anger. The Grim Reaper in your dream is the guilt you feel towards other people you know and that's probably what has kept you in friendships/relationships that are not good for you.
The person who is killed is the most unhealthy relationship you have. This person has caused you great anger and frustration by what they do.
You've held back too long and have been living your life through these people to the point that you find it hard to express who you are, and it's now time to be true to yourself and start being you.
Myarka.
