Last night I dream that a family friend hung herself. At first I came after it had happened and then I was there as it happened but I was trying to call for help as she finally died. It was important that I saw her daugther, who seemed younger than in real life, and her mother was there too. I think I wanted to be there for the daughter more than I was needed. The mother was actually a mother of a different friend (in real life), which was odd. There was a very sinister man living in the dead friends house, who was quite scary.
In reality, I have issues with this (older) friend of the family because I feel that she acts irresponsibly regarding her teenage daughter. Interestingly, her behaviour echoes that of mine years ago and also because I was a daughter to a mum who didn't always act appropriately with boyfriends and who had rather a hedonistic lifestyle, I have felt anger towards her (the friend) behaviour. I have told her of this though.
Still interesting dream. But not very nice.
Still, been in tears today and my body is reacting quite badly. My IBS has reared it's ugly head and I am fighting off a cold and keep feeling dizzy. This has all been exacerbated by the fact that I am returning to a horrible job after 8 months maternity leave. Not worried about leaving my son (trust where he is going and just not that kind of mum), but am dreading (more so) going back to a job that is ruled by a right royal pain in the a*se and is not very fulfilling mentally (I am a med sec). I am sure that by the end of tomorrow I will be feeling better - bloomin' hope so - especially as I shall be handing in my notice.. woohoo!!
