Not really got anything to say - was just so excited to see that a yoga forum has been created! I've been doing yoga for about 6 years now - started when I damaged my back and now use it on a daily basis - it is a FABULOUS tool kit for all sorts of ailments (physical and emotional!)
Look forward to talking to all other yoga-buffs and seeing some interesting threads here.

oooooooooooohhhhhhhh I was wandering when a yoga forum would appear.
I dont pracrice but have done in the past and am looking forward to taking it up again.

Woohoo!! a Yoga fourm - great. I've been doing Hatha Yoga for about 2 years - love it.
My bro' who lives near London does Bikram which he thinks is the best - but you can't get it up here yet:(

Yay yoga! I started a few years ago when I was having bad back troubles, osteo told me it was the best thing and he wasn't wrong. Love it, should do more, maybe this forum will help.

Im like Keely-Ive just started-(it was my second class yesturday!)
I love it-I didnt realise how weak my back muscles were tho!!
Even sitting up straight for a few minutes makes my back ache.[&:]
I love it-esp the talks that the tutor gives.
Im glad to see this forum open.

Yaaayyy yoga forum!!
I've fallen behind with my yoga practice since work moved to a new building
I miss going to classes. I do astanga as i need something to move my stiff limbs and having done no exercise for years. It's proving difficult to find astanga classes.
I use David Swenson video at home and he's brilliant.
So glad Vanessa posted the thread on retreats. All the ones i've seen are expensive. I wouldn't mind paying if someone said it's really good. Looking forward to hearing further on that.

I am also a yoga enthusiast, I have been doing Iyengar yoga for the last 3 years. Not only does it help with my back problems but also it really helps to settle my mind and keep me sane! It really does work the inside of the body as well as keeping the outside toned! A good exercise for body mind & spritl!!!
Am pleased to see this yoga thread start up! Who knows we may even get to meet a few people on this forum if we decide to go to the same retreat, nice one!

Hi All,
I am so glad that you are all so enthusiastic about Yoga, it really is a wonderful journey, reuniting body mind and spirit. It seems some of us came to know of yoga through back injury or being over stiff!!! its a great way to keep the body trim and supple and also keeping us sane as someone else said. I am here if you want to know more about specific postures and yoga 4 health issues so please feel free to post and i will endeavour to assist.
