I posted the message in italics below on the Reiki Forum earlier today receiving quite a few interesting and useful replies. I've also been advised to post it on here as it now seems it concerns Kundalini energy about which I know absolutely nothing ! :confused: I would add that I'm particularly interested in the electromagnetic sides of energy as well.

However I'm now wondering if experiencing or feeling energy coming in is a natural ability, or does everyone have to practice sensing it first, such as feeling it between the palms, the way I did to begin with ? I remember it took me a good 2 or 3 months before I felt anything at all and was often on the point of giving up !
The reason I'm asking all this is that for the first time since then, I've started to feel it coming in quite strongly from behind. Starting just inside the tops of both hips and then extending 4 or 5 inches further down. Does anyone know if this serves any useful purpose or is it just something that happens to everyone to eventually get used to ?"
