Hi

if you have read my last post you will have seen that i had a miscarriage last week, I have been bleeding for nearly 2 weeks now and it seems to be getting heavier. I feel so lethargic and irritable and everything is an effort. I have b12 injections every 12 weeks for pernicious anemia but my next injection is not due until the begining of sept, I have a tendancy to be low in iron and folic acid too, which obviously wouldnt help my lack of energy either. Can anyone make any suggestions on ways to boost my energy levels, also i am assuming the reason i feel irritable is probably due to hormones being all over the place, any suggestions for that too?

a very tired lilyflower. x

That touches on many big subjects I'm afraid, but if you feel exhausted then you probably are. If you want a quick fix there are plenty but eventually they tend to leave the adrenals even more exhausted than before.

Very sorry to hear about the miscarriage, that's bound to leave you discombobulated. I would suggest that as well as working with a practitioner for the underlying absorbtion issues, the best healer is of course time, and you probably deserve a holiday.

In the short term do please see somebody to get to grips with the bleeding, you may be loosing iron even faster than it can be absorbed.

That's all I can offer from a distance, but hope it helps.
Best wishes and heal well
x

Hi Lilyflower

As Kvdp says, you shouldn't be bleeding still - go to the doc. Bleeding reduces your iron supplies, B12 and energy levels and may indicate something that requires further investigation.
