As the title suggests, err... well basically, my boyfriend and I had sex in the sea. We didn't use a condom since I'm taking the pill and we don't have any STDs, and we stayed away from the public. But now I'm just wondering if it's safe to do that? I don't have anything wrong with me but I mean, couldn't the sea water have gone into my vagina or something? And would that do any harm to me? It was awesome and we want to do it again but I just want to make sure this time...

Yeah... that was really embarrassing to tell, even on the internet :

Why be embarrassed Nicole, I'm sure plenty of hp writers have tried it. Presume you did the deed in warm foreign waters with little pollution so you should be ok (don't try this sort of thing in the River Mersey or Tyne etc - too cold as well).
Enjoy!!

The sea water would be entering your vagina as soon as you were swimming in the sea, so having sex wouldn't have done any more damage.

I'd be more worried about getting stuck together.. something to do with the vacum of air etc.. however, that never stopped me in the past.

Replying to the first post, I really think you can rest easy. (the s-*-x subject seems a bit uppermost on HP right now??) But re:

sex in the Tyne

Isn't there a song about that? That it's "all mine, all mine"? :p

At least the Tyne fog would shroud the event;)

I don't frequent the womens health section on HP, but this is a quality thread.
Well done Nicole9.
