hey guys - just thought I might post this here - hope you dont mind but it has been bugging me and I know I should go back to my gp - here goes anyway:
I am 37, been off the pill for 3/4 years. I recently went back on the pill, and mid way through the pack I got a "period" now 2 weeks later I am still shedding - not much but noticeable all the same, does anyone know why this could be, since its been a while and I have never had this happen before?

I think this may depend on the type of pill you are taking.
I have terrible migraines which the doctors believe to be hormone related, and so I have tried many different type of pill over the years, the lower dose ones ie low dose of Oestrogen didn't work for me in that I too had breakthrough bleeding mid month - the doctor said my own natural cycle was overriding the pill hormones!
I would give the doctor a ring - better to be safe than sorry. Or quite often in the pill packets there is a helpline number you can ring for that particulare brand that might be of more help.
