Hoping someone can help me.
I feel tired all day no matter how much sleep I get.[sm=sleep.gif]
I could sleep all day surely this isn't normal.[sm=sleep.gif]
My whole body aches all over all day every day and I just don't have any energy even to do the smallest of tasks.
It is even hard for me washing dishes and i am at the stage now where I'm having so much trouble coping.
I've been to doctors and they tell me its menopause .
Any help and comments would be much appreciated.

Hi Anabel - yes it could be the menopause - but your immune system could also be very weak. There are various alternatives to take for the menopause, but I suggest you visit your GP who will be able to determine whether it is the menopause or not. If he/she offers you HRT - yes, it can be the best thing since sliced bread - BUT - if/when you come of it - your symptoms may start all over again[:'(]
The change in weather really affects the body at this time of the year, so its likely your immune system is struggling. I suggest you take a good multi vitamin, and Selenium ACE - they work for me.

Good advice there already. Are these symptoms new or have they been ongoing? Perhaps you'd benefit from talking to a dietician or kinesiologist who can work with your current needs.
If it's really come on in the last couple of months I would advise looking into a SAD lamp, they work wonders for fatigue at this time of year. Some places now do rentals so you can see if it works for you.

It may be two years old, but someone recently "revived" the thread, and further down it I did recommend that the whole thing was well worth reading.

Have you been tested for diabetes and has your thyroid function been evaluated?
