Body clock
Your periods are intimatly linked to your body clock.
The body clock is a sensitiv one.
It might be shaken by any kind of emotionnal stress. 😡 🙁
Have you been stressed 2 months ago?
To have this kind of effect (I mean shaking the clock under pill require a big stress) you must remember what has triggers it.
Do not worry it's not something serious ( I do not mean the cause of the stress.I mean the consequence:The change in your period regularity).
It just show your body have been in trumoil because of your feelings.
You can wait if you want not to do anything special.
It will go back to normal as soon as the distress signal you have fell will fade away.
If you want to heal it faster: work on what have cause the stress and try to make the most of the situation even if it have been a big shock.

You re more than welcome Ash.
I hope this have help you less worrying.:o
I am pleased there is no major stress linked to this and just some changes.
Maybe are you simply a sensitiv personn.
You have to know that sometimes we classified situations as not important.
We may think that doesn't matter at all...but deep in our heart, that does matter.
It happens sometimes we listen to our brain but our heart want to express something sligtly different. For doing so he use the body to talk.
Diseases and all physical symptoms are just body language, used to make us focuse/stop/think about the meaning of special event in our life.

Hiya
Two thoughts:
First, how old are you? If you're in your mid-30s you may have just entered the peri-menopause, which is where your uterus starts to slow down and become erratic, before the periods stop at the menopause.
Second, maybe you're working with a new female and your periods are synching with hers. Sounds barmy but it does happen. I used to work in a community education setting with 9 other women, and after about 18 months we were all on within 10 days of each other!
Hi,
Sorry to butt in on this but what age is average for starting the menopause?
Try not to worry about it dreamer.
bm.
Dreamer,
Reading your post was like me writing it, have had the same thing the last period, now wondering when I am due again as I am all out of sync.
I do agree with Lobelia's replies on stress and can relate to that but now am wondering too about peri menopause. My mum had her menopause early and I had my first period at 10, I have heard that early periods mean early menopause so think I will look further into this.
Love & blessings,
Rachel

Hi there,
I also started my periods when I was 10 and am early 50's now and still going (if somewhat erratically now!).
Peri-menopause can start up to 15 years before full-blown menopause so 30-ish is not too far out. Peri-menopause gives you some of the symptoms which could include irregular periods. Having a blood test would not show up because the hormone producing follicles will not be pumping out full blast yet (which is how doctor's decide when you are menopausal - the hormone level is off the scale!) but it will be affecting you in a slight way. Normally, though the Pill regulates these hormones so maybe you need to get checked by GP and you may need to try a different kind of Pill now?
Love and light
