Hi all
I am a 45 year old woman who has very regular periods but for the last six months 2 to 3 days after my period ive felt rubbish. I feel light headed and a bit headachey but not enough to take pain killers also a bit nauseous but im not physically sick, lethargic and generally unwell, it lasts for anything from 2 to 4 days and then im back to my normal self.
A friend suggested taking iron tablets as may be anaemic but these dont seem to make any difference. I dont really feel poorly enough to go to the doctors but if it carries on i may have to seek advice but first i thought id give you guys a try.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatlyfully received.
Thanks for reading
I would go and have a chat with the GP re perimenopausal issues, and maybe a blood test to rule out anemia, but would personally go 'complementary' having got the information, as there are lots of gently remedies/support supplements out there, as well as dietary changes. I did this, and generally feel very well with a litle bit of support from one or two herbs, plus flaxseed in the Dr Budwig formula (which is also helping my therapist's arthritic fingers hugely)
