Hiya everyone
Can anyone reccommend something for very greasy skin. Over the last couple of weeks, my forehead is dreadfully greasy. I recently brought some lovely moisturisers from Avon, but stopped using them after a couple of days because they made the problem a whole lot worse.
Please help!

RE: Greasy Skin
Hello there
I am qualified in holistic facials and i use the prodocts from [link= http://www.essentially-yours.co.uk ]www.essentially-yours.co.uk[/link]if you have a look on their website - and you sign up with them Free you can get items Trade price. I use 2 types of skin products (just because I cannot afford the many various ranges they have at the moment) I use products for dry skin but I am told by Karen the lady there that it is great for all types of skin to start off with as the products are so gentle and natural/organic. plus I use products for sensitive skin, fragrance free. Try them - they can send you out a tester pot for free. PM me for her email.
Have you spoken to your doctor about a possible hormone imbalance, sometimes this could be the cause? Do you drink plenty of fluids - water?
Do you use products that are too harsh for your skin or do you not use products at all? Have you had a look at your diet? Sugary/fatty foods?
Some of these may have some bearing on your skin. If you talk to John at essentially yours he is a cosmetologist and has 27 years experience in skin care.
Le us know how you get on. Feel free to PM me if you like.
Best of luck.

Oily Skin

Oily Facial Products - Sebaceous glands are the oil factories which keep skin lubricated. Sometimes they remain over productive and the excess oil can lead to spots and blackheads at any age. If bacteria becomes trapped in the pores this can become infected and lead to inflamed skin, whiteheads or acne. Exposure to mineral oils can block the pores making conditions worse. This range of products will keep the skin clean and healthy allowing the pores to breathe without disturbing the skins natural pH balance or drying it out.
This is the article from the essentially yours website.

Hiya Tracey
This is wonderful, I will give them a shout. Though my skin is very oily in this area, there is no spots or anything. I'm eating the same as normal, though I really should drink more water. I'll try that also.
Thanks hun

Hi
Just wanted to share with you a product which has really helped me to prevent those dreaded blemishes that you constantly get withgreasy skin. It's [link= http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/product_details_brand_treatment.jsp?productid=1068273&classificationid=1031594 ]Boots No7 Beautifully Clear[/link]. Its a clear gel that you put on under any moisturiser.
I have been using it under normal moisturiser for about 3 months now, and it really does work.
Good luck
