We were married for 5 years before we felt ready to have children. After we had our first daughter. We both said never never again. Due to me having morning sickness from day one to the last day of me being pregant. Then having very bad post natal depression for the next few months. It put us both off.

Then seven years later we had our 2nd daughter. My husband started changing his mind about having another child, after about 5 years. Then he had to slightly persaude me. By then, I think I had just about thought I could cope.
I did go onto have morning sickness as before. All the way through but even worse. But thankfully I didn`t have post natal depression.

The moral of this story is never say never. As you never know when you will change you mind. Ha ha.
I love and cherish both my daughters. I am so glad we changed our mind.

both of my daughters were planned although had to wait four and half years for the second!after having the first one by dramatic emergency caesarian section it put me off and ecided not have anymore but changed my mind when she was one and half though! planned for another after the second but after four years of trying we got divorced so the next baby never happened.

Clairabella, congratulations, presume you are expecting now, wish you the very best.

Our 2 were planned and thankfully now are 2 boisterous young boys. My OH is on medication which has more than likely left him infertile but we are so thankful to have had no problems in conceiving, ok fair enough the morning sickness and heartburn but so worth it!

Love & blessings,

Rachel

Our little one, a boy (now a year old), was planned and fell pregnant after 4 months of trying. Horrendous birth but may have another one when he's about 3 or 4 years of age. This year has been the best year of my life with a miracle brought into this world. I don't know what life was like without him!

I fell pregnant once accidentally and lost it, it was during a difficult time in our lives, then I invited the baby back into our lives and I was pregnant within four weeks with our first son. My second son came straight away as well.

We are very fortunate and have two beautiful boys aged 2 and 4.

Mine where unplanned but wanted;)

With my 1st we used to joke when we went for days out that all we needed was a son called Jake, shortly after I was pg & had a boy...we had used contraception! I got pg again 16 months later & i was using the mini pill...I did want two kids of a close age but I was far too much of a coward to of planned it, my first baby didn't sleep at all so my first experience of babies was a tiring one..luckly my 2nd son was great at nights. I did want one more and really wanted a daughter but thought I'd go back to work first when the boys where 4 & 2 and planned to have my 3rd when we had a bigger house & more income, we got the bigger house & more money but by then the doctors told me I was infirtile, early menopause at 28:eek:..I was gutted and actually had to grieve because I knew I was meant to have a daughter too....but 2 years after the meno news and only just excepting it I found out I was pg again and had my daughter after all.:)

So...in a nutshell, none of my babies where planned but all where very very much wanted. I do believe very much in fate and they where just meant to be

Love
Amy
